You can create a shortcut to the Ziplet web app and save it to your computer desktop. Firstly, determine your web browser, then follow these steps:
Google Chrome (for PC)
- 1. Open https://ziplet.com/app/#/ in your browser
- 2. Click the Chrome Menu (icon with three dots/lines) on right of the browser toolbar
- 3. Select Tools
- 4. Select Create application shortcuts
- 5. In the dialog that appears, choose Desktop when asked where you'd like the application to appear on your computer
- 6. Click Create
Safari
- 1. Open https://ziplet.com/app/#/ in your browser
- 2. Resize the Safari window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Safari window on the same screen
- 3. Click the icon on the left of the address bar (where the URL is shown)
- 4. While still holding the mouse button down, move the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button. The shortcut will be created
Microsoft Edge
- 1. Right-click on an empty space on your Desktop
- 2. Select New
- 3. Click Shortcut
- 4. In the Type the location of the item field, paste the following: %windir%\explorer.exe microsoft-edge:https://ziplet.com/app/#/
- 5. Click Next. This will create the desktop shortcut
Mozilla Firefox (for PC)
- 1. Open https://ziplet.com/app/#/ in your browser
- 2. Resize the Firefox window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen
- 3. Click the icon on the left of the address bar (where the URL is shown)
- 4. While still holding the mouse button down, move the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button. The shortcut will be created
If the above methods do not work for you, or if you're using Chrome or Firefox for Mac you can follow these steps:
- 1. Open https://ziplet.com/app/#/ in your browser
- 2. Resize the browser window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the browser window on the same screen
- 3. Highlight the whole URL
- 4. Click+hold+drag the URL to your computer desktop
